David Brown senior arrived as a
free settler with his children Mary, James, David junior and
Thomas on the
Cornwallis in 1801.

In 1824 David
David Brown (junior), and brother Thomas Brown, were each promised by
Governor Darling, 150 acres at Jerry’s Plains.
