Convict Ship Surgeon-Superintendent

George Rowe was entered in the Navy List of Medical Officers in 1814.

He was employed as Surgeon Superintendent on the convict ship New Grove to Van Diemen's Land in 1834, however became dangerously ill. In consequence the vessel called at Scilly where David Thomson was appointed Surgeon Superintendent in his place.
