Surgeon Superintendent

He was employed as Surgeon-Superintendent on the female convict ship City of Edinburgh in 1828. The City of Edinburgh departed Cork on 23 June 1828 and arrived in Port Jackson 12 November 1828. Medical Journal dated from 14 June 1828 to 27 November 1828.

William Anderson was also Surgeon-Superintendent of the Bussorah Merchant to VDL in 1830. Medical Journal dated from 26 August 1829 to 4 February 1830.
